A useful menu is the starting point

MenuDrop connects a creator’s food ideas with household planning and grocery shopping. The earnings pilot is designed to share eligible grocery commission revenue with participating creators when the required commercial and attribution conditions are met.

Pilot access is limited. Publishing a menu, gaining a follower, or sending someone to a shopping link does not create earnings by itself. Program approval, an accepted earnings agreement, verified payout setup, and eligible partner activity are separate requirements. Start by understanding what the program measures and what your individual agreement controls.

Publishing access and earnings enrollment are different

Creator access provides the product features listed on MenuDrop’s pricing page. Eligible subscribers can request pilot access, but a subscription does not guarantee acceptance, commission revenue, or a financial return. Choose a plan because its features are useful to you.

An earnings offer is separate. Read it before accepting, including the eligible revenue basis, your percentage, the payment schedule, any minimum payout amount, and the treatment of adjustments. The public guide does not promise one universal commission rate or payout date for every creator.

Follow the difference between interest and revenue

A household may discover a menu, make it its own, generate groceries, and visit a shopping provider. Those are useful steps in the product experience. Confirmed earnings require additional evidence and eligible commission funds.

Follow the difference between interest and revenue
ActivityWhat it means for earnings
A view, follow, or saved menuInterest or product use; no confirmed commission by itself
A grocery list or shopping-link clickA shopping step; not proof of a completed order
An attributable partner transactionPotentially eligible activity, subject to program rules and confirmation
Eligible commission received by MenuDropThe revenue basis used under the creator’s accepted agreement
A completed payoutMoney paid under the applicable terms; distinct from a displayed balance

Your share is based on eligible commission

The household’s grocery bill and MenuDrop’s commission revenue are different amounts. A creator’s agreed share applies to the eligible commission basis specified in the accepted offer, rather than automatically applying to the full cart value.

For an illustration only, suppose a hypothetical agreement pays 40% of eligible commission and MenuDrop receives $5 of qualifying commission. That calculation would be $2 before any applicable adjustments or holds. Neither the percentage nor the dollar amounts in this example are MenuDrop’s published rate, a forecast, or an offer. The example explains the calculation; your agreement establishes the actual terms.

Attribution and corrections matter

The program needs to connect eligible partner activity to the relevant creator. A click alone is insufficient, and a transaction that cannot be reliably matched remains uncredited while it is reviewed. Partner exclusions and reporting rules can affect which activity qualifies.

Refunds, reversals, or corrections may reduce an amount previously recorded, including after an earlier payout. Review confirmed commissions, adjustments, and completed payouts as separate records. That makes it easier to understand a balance change and to raise a specific question about an entry.

Complete the onboarding that applies to your invitation

When live setup is available, invited creators review and accept their individual agreement and complete the available Stripe-hosted onboarding flow. Stripe collects the required identity and banking details. Returning from Stripe to MenuDrop is not, on its own, confirmation that verification is complete.

Payout readiness must be checked, and payment depends on eligible funds and the accepted terms. Your final agreement sets the schedule, minimum, and permitted holds. A positive balance is not a promise that a bank deposit has already been sent. Cancelling a subscription does not erase recorded earnings, which remain subject to the agreement and documented adjustments.

Build a menu worth shopping from while access is limited

You can improve the usefulness of your channel before commissions are available. Choose an occasion, finish the recipes, verify the yields and ingredient amounts, and make the grocery list understandable. Share content you have rights to publish. Where you have an affiliate or sponsored relationship, explain that relationship clearly alongside the recommendation.

Ask a willing household to use the menu for an actual planning session. Find out what they could not understand and revise the menu. This work gives your channel a stronger foundation without assuming that a view, a copy, or a shopping click will become income.

Where to check your next step

Visit the creator earnings guide for the program explanation and your earnings page for the account options available to you. If eligible, use the pilot request flow. If access is not open, keep building useful menus and return when an invitation or program update is available.

For help getting the content ready, start with the three-menu channel guide and the shoppable-menu checklist. A clear, complete menu gives a household a reason to use your work, whatever the status of commercial enrollment.
